We’re family here at The Oyster Bar. We cook food for guests we love, and we sprinkled in passion as our main ingredient. This sense of community begins with our founders and trickles down to the staff. The Oyster Bar is a continuation of the concept of “Live Action Seafood Cooking.”
A fusion of the freshest seafood and traditional Louisiana comfort food makes The Oyster Bar a unique destination. Piping hot dishes made in steam kettles are perfectly complemented by specialty cocktails and select craft beers. The steam kettles alone are enough to dazzle the crowds, but the oysters are what make them come back.
At the Raw Bar guests can interact with oyster shuckers, be entertained by their knowledge and skills, and learn about the oysters they are being served. Oysters won’t be the only mesmerizing item on the raw bar. Sensational clams, crab legs, lobster tails and muscles will enhance the delectable options.
The Oyster Bar aims to encourage “the farm to table” concept by supporting farmers who are vital to their community’s economic stability. By utilizing local farms, guests can be sure we are serving high-quality food with the freshest ingredients.
The most appreciated aspect of The Oyster Bar is its relationship with the environment. The ARTIC, an environmentally self-sustaining building, is where The Oyster Bar calls home. Our steam kettle cooking process is energy efficient and safe for the environment.
